Orientation Course 2024-2025

Course Objectives:

To enable members to understand the Guiding Movement of Girl Guides, to support in taking forward Girl Guides’ activities and cultivate Girl Guides to be responsible world citizens.

Target Participants:

Applicants should have attained the age of 21 and joined the Regional or District Association.

Course Outline:

• Guiding Movement (Aim, Principles and Social Responsibilities)
• The History of the Hong Kong Guiding and World Guiding Movement
• Promise & Law
• Role and responsibilities of Members

Medium of the Course:

The course would be conducted in Cantonese and supported with Handouts in Chinese.

How to apply:

• Participants who have accessed Girl Guides Membership System (GGMS) successfully, please enroll the course through Online Course Registration System (OCRS) in GGMS. (https://ggms.hkgga.org.hk/GGMS/OCRS_Course/courseForm/c682019c-1b07-44b4-9af0-103a95cf432b)
• Participants who could not access Girl Guides Membership System (GGMS) successfully, please fill in the application form below.

Remarks:

• Participants should arrive 15 minutes earlier before the course start
• Participants who are interested to enroll as a Girl Guide in the Enrollment Ceremony, please attend the course in full uniform.
