Surf Smart

Surf Smart

As technology develops, we find many ways to integrate the Internet into our lives. With such widespread use of the Internet, it becomes more important than ever to ensure that our members can continue to use the Internet safely, connecting positively with others online and respecting their own rights and reputation in the digital world.

With the help of World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts to produce the “Surf Smart” curriculum, we hope to support girls and young women to build the knowledge and understanding when using the Internet. We hope that they can equip themselves with the skills they will need to enjoy using Internet technology safely and to its fullest potential and to build skills, awareness and confidence in managing the risks associated with it.

Get your Surf Smart badge by completing any two of the activities from each of the following themes, plus the “Put Yourself First” activity!
