Brownie Tour on Sex Knowledge – Know your body and protect yourself

Learning Goals
1. To learn about different body parts, including their locations and functions via activities, so as to realize the differences between boys and girls, and to protect themselves and to love their body.
2. Using real life situations to learn the correct ways in getting contact with others, to express their feelings and to handle inappropriate actions, in order to be self-protected and to establish friendship with respect.
3. To match up with the Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations (Goal 3 – Good Health and Well Being and Goal 5 – Gender Equality) so as to broaden the view to some global issues, and try to act on these goals.

About the Programme

Led by the “Women’s Health and Well-Being” Team from the Educational Programme, Brownies would take a journey on “Sexual Knowledge”.  The journey is divided into 5 sessions: (1) Know about your body (2) To protect your body and to establish a sense to love your body (3) Sexual Harassment at a sudden (4) To get away from a lecher (5) Say No to Sexual Harassment

Target: Brownies age 8-12
Dress Code: Outdoor Uniform

Application Guidelines

1. Application would be handled by first-come-first-served basis, and would not be handled if the information provided by the applicant is not complete.
2. Enrollment list would be posted on the event website.
3. The participant’s name could not be amended once the application is accepted.  If the enrolled participant could not attend the event please inform the Course Registration Staff as soon as possible.
