Yuen Long Division "Christmas Wreath Design Competition"
Purpose:
With Christmas just around the corner, the annual competition is designed to showcase the creative and artistic talents of Girl guides.
Eligibility:
Yuen Long Division Brownies/Girl Guides/Ranger
Competition format:
Participants can design their own Christmas wreaths with Christmas elements based on the material package provided by the association or materials prepared by themselves, and
Select the team's outstanding works before the designated date and submit them online.
Work requirements and precautions:
● The diameter of the wreath is about 15 cm
● Names, unit numbers, school/institution names or logos may not be displayed on the works, nor may any national flags and emblems be used;
● Participants can add additional decorative accessories (e.g. crepe paper, plush balls, homemade ornaments, etc.)
Competition rules:
● Each unit can apply for up to 20 copies of materials (if the number of unit members exceeds 20, they can prepare their own materials);
● Unit can first conduct an on-campus competition and select up to five outstanding works to submit to the association;
● All contestants' works must be original works that have not been published publicly and must not infringe the copyright of others. All contestants who submit the participation form
After qualifying the entries, you agree to authorize the conference to edit, copy, archive, transmit, publish, publicize, exhibit and print the entries and materials without seeking the entrant's consent or paying any copyright fees, and reserve the final decision to adopt the entries. right;
● Once an entry is submitted for judging, no replacement or new version of the entry will be accepted under any circumstances;
● The results of the evaluation shall be determined by the judges’ decision, and the contestants shall not object;
● The organizer reserves the right to interpret and amend the competition rules.
Awards:
● All contestants will receive an electronic participation certificate;
●Each unit will have five outstanding works;
● Each competition group will have one champion, one runner-up, one third runner-up and four merit prizes.
● The awards are expected to be awarded at the division's event ceremony in April 2025.
Evaluation criteria:
The judges are composed of district directors and will be judged on the basis of relevance, creativity and skills.
