Purpose: The Paris 2024 Olympic Games will be held from 26 July to 11 August. It will showcase the creativity and artistic talents of Girl Guides through competitions, while celebrating the Olympic Games and understanding the symbolic meaning of the Olympic torch.
Date: 6 July, 2024 (Saturday)
Time: 9am to 12:30pm
Check-in time: Please check in 15 minutes before the activity time
Venue: Yuen Long Merchants Association Secondary School (20 Fung Nin Road, Yuen Long, NT)
Activity content: 1. 09:30am – 10:30am Fly-up Ceremony
                           2. 10:30am – 11:30am Olympic Torch Creation Competition
                           3. 12:00am – 12:30pm Award Ceremony
                           4. Torch Coloring Creation Competition (must be submitted before 2 July, 2024)

Cost: $10/per participant (no charge for those who only participate in the coloring competition)
Quota: 500 people in total for Brownie/Girl Guide/Ranger Group
(Each team has a quota of 20 people for the main selection. If a team has a large number of participants, you can fill in the reserve list first, and the conference will evenly distribute the remaining spots to each team.)
Clothing: Uniform with hood (Girl Guides and Guiders of all groups)

Eligibility:

1. Fly-up Ceremony
a. Brownie who has just graduated from primary school; or
b. Those who are over 10 years old and will leave the Brownies and are willing to be promoted to Girl Guides; or
c. Members who will leave the Girl Guides after reaching the age of 15 and who are willing to be promoted to Rangers.

Registration method:

1. This event must be registered at Google Form .          Attachment to the event registration form
2. The activity payment can be sent by check to [8 Gascoigne Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong The Hong Kong Girl Guides Association] and marked "Participate in Yuen Long Division Summer Activities" [or on the activity day Submit it to the registration office on the same day. Make the check payable to [Hong Kong Girl Guides Association, NT Rigion]; write [Unit Number] on the back of the check. If the registration information is incomplete, the registration will not be processed. Once admitted, participants cannot be changed at will without the permission of the conference.
3. Unless canceled due to bad weather or insufficient number of applicants, all fees will not be refunded.
4. If there are too many applicants, the application will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. All registrations are subject to the time when the form is filled out. If the registration information is incomplete, the registration will not be processed. Once admitted, participants cannot be changed at will without the permission of the conference.
