【Level 3 / 4】Leadership/Guiding Skills Workshop (Advanced Level) – Managing Groups and Events Workshop
Objectives
Leader experiences how to plan an event, conduct risk assessment skills and apply her knowledge to daily life.
Content
- Select appropriate activities to girls of different ages so that they can have opportunities to learn and experience
- Complete risk assessment to ensure required safety measures and set contingency plans for emergencies
- How to make a budget for the activity, and ensure a balance of income and expenses
- During planning and implementation of activities, prepare to address for different needs of various stages
- Brainstorm to produce a detailed work schedule
- In handling activities, deal with problems that may arise with solutions
- How to improve planning, implementation and evaluation of the activities in a structured process
- Based on the assessment results of the activities, make recommendations for future plans
Target
- Present Appointed Guider of any section, Leader of Happy Bee / Golden Guide, or Commissioner
- Suitable for Leader who has completed Level 2 (Part 1&2) of the Leader Training Scheme
Remark: Please submit the copy of ‘Leader Training Scheme Record – Level 2’
Graduation Requirement
1. Attend 100% of the session
2. Complete the session assignment

Remarks :
- You are required to attend 100% of the sessions in order to fulfil the course completion requirements.
- Please do not send CASH / POST-DATED CHEQUE / POSTAL ORDER with application.
- When typhoon No. 1 signal is hoisted, all Leaders Training Scheme will carry on. All the courses will be cancelled when typhoon No.8 signal is hoisted. When typhoon No.3 signal is hoisted, the Association will decide whether to carry on or to postpone the Training Session 3 hours before the LTS and at 12:00noon for Overnight Camp. Please contact HQ at 2332 5523 for further information.
- When a black rainstorm signal is hoisted, all courses are cancelled.
- An alternate session notice will be sent to participants within one week.
- No parking spaces provided at headquarters on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday.
