Objectives

Leader is a life coach to girls. This workshop helps Leader understand that empowerment of girls and developing leadership are essentials to the Guiding Movement. She can positively encourage girls to make decisions and manage tasks / activities on their own so that each girl can become a responsible leader.

Content

1. Coach basic tips

2. Tips for Empowerment, including understanding empowerment and leadership

3. Applying Promise & Laws, respect and admit that every girl is a valued member

4. How to establish effective leadership

5. Consultative leadership

6. Help Leader develop her leadership and empower that of girls through assessment of multiple intelligence

Target

1. Present Appointed Guider of any section, Leader of Happy Bee / Golden Guide, or Commissioner

2. Suitable for Leader who has completed Level 1 of the Leader Training Scheme

Remark: Please submit the copy of ‘Leader Training Scheme Record – Level I’

Graduation Requirement

1. Attend 100% of the session

2. Complete the session assignment
