We are pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Louise Ho Pui-shan, SBS CDSM, former Commissioner of Customs and Excise as the new Chief Commissioner of the Hong Kong Girl Guides Association, effective on 26 June 2025. She succeeds Ms. Melissa Pang, BBS MH JP who resigned from the role with immediate effect on the same day.

Ms. Louise Ho became Hong Kong's first female Customs Chief in 2021 and retired from the Customs and Excise Department in 2024 after 34 years of dedicated service. As the world's leading voluntary organisation committed to empowering girls and young women as responsible global citizens, we are honoured to welcome Ms. Ho and appreciate the wealth of experiences she brings to the Association. Her international horizon, visionary leadership and proven expertise in public administration and management will offer valuable guidance to the team and inspire future female leaders within the Guiding community. We extend our best wishes to her and her team as they lead the Movement forward.
