The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) has continued to advocate for Young Women in governance following the passing of Motion 32. To echo the WAGGGS' vision, the Hong Kong Girl Guides Association established the YoWo Think Tank Core.

 

Since its establishment, the YoWo Think Tank Core Team has consistently distilled concepts and information on governance, leadership, international affairs, and WAGGGS' updates. In the past year, YoWo Think Tank members have participated in governance affairs and initiatives on both a global and local level, such as discussing on Motions of the World Conferences and Regional Conferences, sitting in the HKGGA Executive Committee and other meetings, and organizing exchange activities between young women from other Member Organizations.

 

The YoWo Think Tank Core Team (2023-2025) Election will be held on 5 August 2023. If you are ready for the challenges ahead and hope to bring your voice to HKGGA and the society, do not hesitate to join us on the Election Day!
