Have you ever thought about exploring the charm of Yau Ma Tei through an interactive, story-telling “flash mob”?
"Community Running" not only captures and highlights the disappearing stories of Yau Ma Tei, but also provides an excellent opportunity to promote the local economy and strengthen community bonding!

Why choose Community Running?
Through Community Running, participants will have the opportunity to experience the enthusiasm and creativity of the neighbourhood through guided cultural tours, embedded with social interactions with the local community. The programme draws inspiration from YoWo Community Changemakers Phase 1's activity「童」你一起深度「油」, and will take participants along and connect with the distinctive neighbourhood.

We are now extending invites to eligible individuals to join our Organising Team:

• Girl Guide members aged between 16 and 30
• Enthusiastic about engaging in fun and interesting activities
• Aspires to drive positive changes within the community and help others
• Hopes to unleash their leadership potential, and build skills such as creativity, problem-solving, event planning, governance, leadership skills, and collaboration

We need your creativity and involvement, whether it's about creating marketing and promotion materials, contacting local businesses, or designing the routes of the Guided Tours. Let's join hands to create a meaningful and exciting activity together!
We look forward to your participation, and to creating beautiful memories together to create a tighter bond within our community!

About YoWo Community Changemakers
The YoWo Community Changemakers is a service programme with the objective of establishing long-lasting impact within the community:
1. Empowering young women: Empower and cultivate young women to become innovators and problem solvers through focused skills and design thinking training.
2. Exploring community needs: The Changemakers subsequently explore the community to identify difficulties and issues within the area, conduct focus groups and site visits, devise solutions to the problems, and implement community service projects to bring sustainable impact to the lives and well-being of vulnerable communities.
