Selection for Flag Raising Ceremony at Golden Bauhinia Square 2019
(Note: This event would be conducted in Cantonese)
Started from year 2008, the Home Affairs Department arranges Uniformed Groups in Hong Kong to participate in the Flag Raising Ceremony on the second Sunday every month at Golden Bauhinia Square in Wan Chai. As from the roster for 2019, the Hong Kong Girl Guides Association would hold the ceremony on 10 March 2019.
To enable members to develop their potential, as well as to train up more members to become flag raiser or commander, HKGGA would organize a training course on flag raising team, conducted by team members from “Drill and Ceremony Instructor Team” for Girl Guides, Rangers and Guiders who are interested. Following with a selection of flag raising team for the “Flag Raising Ceremony at Golden Bauhinia Square 2019 by HKGGA”.

Remarks:
- All participants of the training would be arranged to join the selection of Flag Raisers and Commander
- Participant with attendance rate over 80% would receive an attendance certificate
B) Selection for Flag Raising Ceremony at Golden Bauhinia Square 2019
Date: 20/02/2019 (Wed)
Time: 19:30-21:30
Venue: Hall, 3/F HKGGA Headquarters (8 Gascoigne Road, Kowloon)
Dress Code: Full Uniform with Hat
Application Deadline: 21 January 2019 (Mon) Extend to 23 January 2019 (Wed)
Remarks:
1. All Girl Guide, Ranger and Guider are welcomed to join the selection, without joining the training
2. Selection Criteria: To perform personal foot-drill and PRC Flag/HKSAR Flag raising
3. Applicant can attend particular session of the “Flag Raising Team Training” that to be held before the selection date for practicing. Please indicate in the application form for the dates available.
4. The selected Flag Raiser and Commander have to attend the practice sessions on 23 Feb, 26 Feb, 2 Mar, 6 Mar and 9 Mar as well as the Event day. Those with 80% attendance rate would receive an attendance certificate
