Girl Guides Singapore International Camp "She Can"




HKGGA has been invited by Girl Guides Singapore to send contingent to join Girl Guides Singapore International Camp She Can to:

  • reinforce the awareness of the three Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) - SDG 3, 5 and 13 through fun and REAL activities
  • enhance the key student development experience through gaining international exposure by e-meeting local and international Brownies, Guides, Young Adults and Adult Leaders.
  • create opportunities for girls and young women to connect with the WAGGGS community and be empowered to be global citizens of the world!


Event Date: 1st to 4th June 2022 (Wed - Sat)

Event Time: 8.30 am - 8.30 pm (1 - 3 June) , 8.30am to 1pm (4 June)

Official Language of the Camp:  English



  • The camp programme will start at 8.30 am and end at 8.30 pm daily from 1 - 3 June and from 8.30am to 1pm on 4 June (UTC+8, same as Hong Kong) .
  • There are compulsory activities which participants are expected to attend daily. Other than these activities, participants can allocate the rest of their time according to the activities that they choose.
  • The daily commitment period ranges between 5 and 8 hours.
  • There should be at least one accompanying Guider/Adult Leader on standby during the duration of the camp.
  • The overseas participants will join a sub-camp made of Brownies, Guides, Young Adults and Guiders from Singapore.
  • Contingent are encouraged to participate and submit videos for the various segments.
  • All selected participants are required to compose social media content for sharing on the HKGGA's official Facebook page and Instagram account, and also to participate in the "Let Us Share" event in 2023.


Target Participants: 2 Guiders/Leaders, 5 Young Guiders/Leaders (under aged 30), 20 Brownies (aged 10 or above)/Guides/Rangers  
Fee: Free of charge (all camp fee subsidized by the Association)
