Learning Goal

Members try to recycle waste and turn them into useful household products. They learn to cherish and make good use of resources to reduce waste.

 

Instructions

Phone Holder

  1. Cover the toilet paper tube with old magazine papers.

 

  1. Open a hold in the middle of the paper tube, the size is around 50mm *10mm(or any size that can fit your phone).

 

  1. Insert 4 pins at the side opposite the hold. Make the holder stand on the table.

 

Scarf Hanger

  1. Cut the toilet paper roll in half. Make 6-7 rings.

 

  1. Break off bottom part of the hanger.

 

  1. Tape a row of rings side by side with the inclined part of the hanger.

Members learn to find out the value of the unused items and convert them into useful resources. A leader should also be observant and has lots of ideas.

Members discuss the ways of reuse and recycle the waste. They learn to reduce waste and fight against pollutions. The activity develops members’ creativity. They increase their self-confidence and self-value.
