2020 Global Roundtable: The Power of All-Girl Spaces will be hosted by Girl Scouts of the USA in Florida on 21-25October, 2020. It aims to gather representatives from girl-only WAGGGA Member Organizations to share and strategize about how to effectively emphasize and communicate the benefits of all-girl organizations cross-culturally.


This event features rallying speakers, in-depth conversations and workshop that will conclude with the development of a Global Compact and action plan for associations.



Adult Representatives who are:

Girl Representative who are:

  • Able to understand and speak English
  • MUST be able to commit to supporting the Global Compact and action plan for at least one year.
  • MUST be able to attend a sharing session on 'Let Us Share' event to encourage more members to play an active role in advocating for sustainable peace in the world.
  • Authorized decision-makers

(e.g. Commissioner)

  • Well-versed about WAGGGS and the global movement
  • Passionate about the value and benefits of all-girl organizations
  • Able to organize focus groups and surveys within HKGGA
  • Fond of collaborating with girls


  • Fall between the ages of 14 - 18years old
  • Actively engaged in HKGGA
  • Empowered to share their opinions with adults and peers
  • Experienced or interested in international Girl Scouting or Girl Guiding
  • Able to support the implementation on focus groups and surveys among peers and younger girls within HKGGA
  • Open to new challenges

Two adult representatives (i.e. MUST be Commissioners) and Two girls representatives who aged 14-18

Event Fee:

HK$ 11,200 for each adult representative,

HK$ 11,000 for each girl representative


*Include event fee of 2020 Global Roundtable and all related activities, accommodation, meals, travel insurance, air fare, transportation fee and visa fee.


**The total event cost for Adult representative is HK$22,400, and for Girl representative is HK$22,000. Association subsidizes HK$11,200 and HK$11,000 for each successful candidate respectively.  


*** Please note that once your application has been sent to GSUSA after selected by HKGGA, you are required to bear the full cost (HK$22,400 for Adults // HK$ 22,000 for Girls) if you withdraw from the event.


***Application for the extra financial assistance will be reviewed by the organizer, Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA). GSUSA reserves the right of final decision on the grant allocation.
